Point-to-Multipoint Applications Point-to-Point applications are suitable for organizations with two sites, but what if your company has a need to connect three or more sites together? The cost of a traditional point-to-point link between each of these sites could quickly get out of hand. Fortunately, RichmondAir has an alternative to that scenario. We have the capability and expertise necessary to set up a fully routable, Point-to-Multipoint network. In such a network, one site (determined by the surrounding geography and line of site capabilities) would serve as the base of the network, transmitting and receiving to and from all of the remote locations. We are able to provide connection speeds of 20-60 MBs between these locations. All of your sites could be programmed to be either publicly accessible or privately secluded from the Internet. With a RichmondAir Point-to-Multipoint network, you get everything that you would with a simpler Point-to-Point network while extending it to any number of sites. Depending on topography, we can provide connections to up to 256 locations at a time from a single base site. If necessary, we can also quickly, correctly, and efficiently engineer a solution to provide connections to more than 256 sites.
